Abstract In recent years, electroactive paper emerged as a new alternative in the field of smart actuators. It is based on cellulose material which able to bend under influence an external electric similarly ionic polymer metal composites. The bending mechanism mainly attributed migration charges over thickness thin sheet paper. present contribution proposes numerical framework for simulation scaled boundary plate formulation isogeometric analysis. contrast standard approach, scaling direction solved numerically by B-Spline approximation. This allows render nonlinear effects well displacement fields higher continuity. model applicable very structures such paper, and it also captures charge distribution coupled actuator.
